Why use the Readability Test Tool
The readability test tool will give you an indication of how readable your text is. While the readability test tool can read a web page by providing the URL (web page address) you will need to use the Test by Direct Input to check your story.
To check the readability using the Test by Direct Input option click here, which will open the Readability Test Tool in a new page. Then click on the Test by Direct Input tab and enter (paste) the text (your chapter / section / story) you want to check into the field provided and then click on the Calculate readability.
If your results (readability indices) show red, take a look at improving your text to make it more readable. Making your story more readable will not only be of benefit to your readers but will most probably increase your stories ´likes´ that is based automatically on reader actions. Having more ´likes´ will help you with your stories ranking in the story search results. As your advert views will increase as more readers view your story pages this can help you generate more income.
